JMO Solutions LLC would like to introduce the Surveyors' Tool Kit
for the HP50g.
The STK collection of programs operates on the recently released
HP50 calculator. It represents 26 years of development, spanning
from the HP41, the HP71, the HP48 and now to the HP50. Written by a
surveyor for surveyors, STK provides a unique emphasis on solving a
wide range of problems encountered in the field. With a focus
centered on data collection, STK also provides a printed record of
the data collected and the calculations performed.
STK communicates with many total stations to transfer measured data
to the HP50 for processing. Although purchasing the complete STK
collection of three modules is recommended, these modules can be
purchased separately. The three modules are: the Basic Solutions;
the Advanced Solutions, and the Field Solutions.
The manuals have been written in a step-by-step manner, an approach
that seems to be absent in other data collector manuals. These
manuals are accompanied by books of example problems that illustrate
how specific problems are solved. Step-by-step instructions include
presenting the problem, illustrating the problem, listing the key
strokes necessary in solving the problem, and showing a printed
record of the solution.
